Deanna Spanjers

Deanna Spanjers is the Supervisor at the District Wide Early Childhood Hub

Dr. Spanjers joined SPPS in 2009 as a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Specialist, and since then she has served as a school psychologist, a district coach supporting school improvement efforts, and an administrative intern at Highwood Hills Elementary.  She is passionate about creating systems to support positive behavior, using data to make decisions, and building strong relationships with students, families, and staff.  She joined the Early Childhood Hub West team in 2022 when it opened.  As Supervisor, she enjoys the opportunity to collaborate across multiple departments and programs to meet the needs of students and families at the Early Childhood Hub.

Dr. Spanjers received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Wellesley College.  She obtained her doctorate degree in Educational Psychology from the University of MN.
