Staff Profile

Hello! My name is Abby and this is my first year as an ECSE teacher in SPPS and at the Early Learning Hub! I have a Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, a Master's degree in special education EBD/SLD and just finished an additional teaching license in early childhood special education. I have spent the last 20 years of my career in the childcare world, ranging from teaching to co-running a center. I teach the 2 day per week half day program here at the Hub and I am enjoying meeting and learning from a great group of educators. My favorite thing about teaching is getting to watch children grow and develop over the course of the year! 

I am an avid Peloton user and love the sport of basketball! I go to as many games, wether it be the Lynx or Golden Gophers as much as possible. I also enjoy spending as much time as possible with my husband, 2 kids and 2 dogs!
