Staff Profile

Hello! My name is Amy Lemke. I am one of the full day self-contained early childhood special education teachers at the Early Childhood Hub. I received my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Studies and Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and my Masters of Education from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. I have been teaching in early childhood special education since 2006 in Pre-K inclusion, Birth-2 and now self-contained. I started working at the hub in 2023 after working in two other school districts that were farther from home. I love working at the hub and supporting students in their last year before heading off to Kindergarten. Watching them grow and develop over the year and celebrating milestones is my favorite part of this work. I live in St. Paul with my husband and 3 daughters. We love exploring our city, hiking, traveling when we can, and spending time together as a family.
